Coinciding with the return trip, the lately famous Icelandic volcano (we bet you won’t be able to neither spell it nor pronounce it corretly) decided to produce a vast ash cloud prevent air navigation throughout Europe. This fact forced us to stay in Izmir much more time than expected and finally started an unplanned route via Munich and Barcelona, combining air and rail. Arriving home several days later is nothing compared with the lengthy and complicated trip back to their countries that most of our partners had. Some of them even had to charter coaches that departed from their countries in order to meet the delegations at different places in Europe somewhere in the way back. So we cannot complain much after all.
